Riccardo Giraldi, creative director at B-Reel (a hybrid production company specialising in advanced digital production for web, mobile, physical installations and other media), has recently undertaken an R&D project to transform a typical slot car track into the world’s first mind-controlled Scalextric.
Using Neurosky’s Mindwave headset Riccardo and the B-Reel team have created their own hardware and software to make the system work.
After checking out Riccardo’s blog and I think it safe that they’ve cracked it. Also as a production company we shouldn’t be surprised to see a great video of the setup, a blog and other informative tit bits.
