The new ultra-thin foldable brain sensor array provides 400 times more resolution than current levels, vastly improving views of the brain whilst dramatically reducing the invasiveness of the brain implant device.
“This flexible, ultra-thin sensor array has 360 amplified and multiplexed electrodes, but only 39 wires are needed. The sensor can be placed in close contact with the brain and is able to take high-resolution recordings of epileptic seizures”.
